like any business, we have some terms & conditions that make things go more smoothly and help alleviate confusion in some situations. Please read thorough the following information and get in touch with us if you have any questions!

Private Boarding Requirements:
We take some simple but, necessary precautions. For the health and safety of our guests & our own pets, dogs boarding with our host-families must be current in the following vaccinations and screenings:

1. DA2PPLHL (Distemper, Adeno virus, Hepatitis, Parvo, Para-influenza, Leptospirosis) - current on veterinary certificate.
2. Bordatella vaccine
3. Flea & tick monthly treatment

Temperament Evaluation: For the safety of our guests & our own resident pets, all new guests must undergo a one-time temperament evaluation prior to their first day of service. This evaluation is complimentary & provided by your host family. Guest must be well socialized, housebroken & predictable under various conditions.

Pricing: Billing rolls over at 12am. half day charges will apply for pick up and drop off before/after 2pm. Your pet may be one of five dogs at one time staying with our hosts unless our exclusive private boarding is booked. Payment is due on/before the first day of service. Additional charges may apply if pet: urinate/defecate inside the home, geriatric care. Pet owner is responsible for replacing/repairing items damaged by pet inside the hosts’ home.

INITIAL CONSULTATION:

your assigned Dogwalker etc. pet care professional will arrange this meeting with you before services begin. at this visit, we can answer questions, deliver your lockbox, and discuss detailed instructions on how to care for your pets. to help ensure availability please plan minimum 1 week advance notice to schedule new services. please reserve 30-60min for your initial in home consultation.

• the initial interview fee is $25
• the initial fee is taken upon registration and prior to the interview
• fees are non-refundable
• initial fee is applied to the first invoice if the client books services
• if a 2nd interview is requested, the $20 fee will be billed on the 1st invoice for services

lockbox:

We require that client keys stay on property safely stored in a lockbox. We will deliver your lockbox during the interview or before the assignment begins. This lockbox is yours to keep may be coded at your discretion. $30 per lockbox

key pick up & drop off:

Should you choose to not use a lockbox or not be able to utlize one due to bldg policies our staff can pick up and drop back your keys. Charged each way $12 per visit

same-day service (if available)

$10 additional charge for visits with less than 24hr. notice

holidays:

federal holidays: $15 per visit
overnight - christmas eve & new year's eve, $15 per visit

administering medication:

• $15 for subcutaneous fluids
• $10 for insulin injections
• $5 for ear or oral drops (*no charge if medication can be given with food.)

cancellation policy:

Applies when booking off-island care plans:
• 0-7 days or less no refunds will be given
• 7-14 days 50% credit or refund will be given
• 14+ days no charges, credit or refund in full

Applies when booking regular and/or recurring services:
• 0-24 hr payment in full is charged (no refunds)
• 1+ day's full credit or refund will be given
