| We know it can be a little scary
to have someone you don't know coming into your home. That's
why Dogwalker etc takes the time and effort to seek out only
the best caregivers for your pet(s) and your home!
Our caregivers treat each pet like they would treat their
own. We pride ourselves on punctuality, dependability, and
(most importantly) animal adoration - If you and your pet
aren't happy, neither are we. Dogwalker is staffed by "animal
people" who have experience and training in caring for
animals of all shapes and sizes.
At Dogwalker, your and your pet's happiness is our main
concern.

I became a business owner in 2001 when I started Dogwalker
etc! The company started out of my home by myself with a leash
& an old pair of running shoes. My desire to work with
animals while enjoying the outdoors of Hawaii seemed to blend
perfectly in this job and so the adventure began. Through the
years I've met lots of great pets and their humans! They've
taught me a lot about having trust, respect & patience.
For many years I worked solo walking, working & caring
for pets. Now we have a wonderful team of sitters that allows
us to always be available & make sure no pet goes uncared
for!

Tais

Tais started working with us in July 2005 & we've been
thankful ever since! Her clients absolutely adore her but that's
no surprise to us!! Tais cares for pets in our "town"
areas. She's quickly becoming our most requested pet sitter!
Tais's other jobs include: costume manager for Cirque Hawaii,
mother to 2 kids & tends to 3 dogs of her own (Mia, Dude
& T-bone). In her spare time she loves to run, bike &
swim...she's got endless energy!

Carrie
P...
Carrie is not only a great personal friend but wonderful with
our clients, both human and their pets! She is one of our pet
/ housesitters. By day, Carrie is an environmental consultant.
She received her degree in Geology & Geophysics las year
from UH. Since then she traveled extensively throughout the
South Pacific and ultimately came back to Hawaii to plant some
roots. Although she has no pets of her own, she relishes the
time with each of our clients! She also enjoys surfing and
paddling canoe!

Leslie
W...
Leslie is a true animal lover, pictured with Betsy… “My
first dog the minipin lion hunter!” adopted from the
Hawaii Dog Foundation on Oahu. She’s lived in Hawaii
for one year & worked with the dogwalker etc team since
mid 2006. Currently she lives in colorful Chinatown & cares
for clients all along the south shore. Leslie recalls…
“My first job as a kid was taking care of the neighbors'
pets and pretty soon I was in charge of the whole street!”
Her own pets have included rats, fish, cats, and family dogs.
Leslie’s future plans include a job that allows her work
outdoors while finishing up her BA in Environmental Studies.

Sondra

Sondra is our most requested house/pet sitter! She has been
with the dogwalker etc team since 2004. Originally Sondra hails
from Canada but has called Hawaii home for the past 14 years.
She has dabbled in many different career fields; from Event
Coordinator to Belly Dancing Instructor! Her love for animals
& professional demeanor really show in the excellent care
she provides each & every one of our clients.

Paula
& Dave C...
Paula & Dave are our first husband & wife team! It’s
so wonderful to have them be a part of the dogwalker etc staff…Both
are retired now and enjoy spending the days walking, running,
hiking and just about any other outdoor activity. In
the summer of 06’ Paula finally retired from a long career
in the Coast Guard. Both she & Dave have lived &
traveled all the coastal U. S. and eventually they settled
in Hawaii. Currently they live with just one kitty which
allows them to offer our clients luxury private boarding in
their home. They also provide everything from bathing to house
sitting! Their service areas range from Manoa to Hawaii Kai.

Kate

Kate started sitting for dogwalker etc in the summer of 2007.
Originally from New Jersey, Kate grew up in a household always
full of lovable pets…big, small, and everything in between.
After falling in love with Hawaii during a student exchange
program from the University of Maryland…she returned
in 2004 to make Oahu her permanent home. Kate cares for our
house sitting, pet sitting and dog walking clients in the Hawaii
Kai area. She enjoys the outdoors, working out, and just about
anything that keeps her active. Most of all, she loves
having a furry friend along to enjoy it with!!

Meaghan has been working with dogwalker etc. since early 2006.
She grew up in Massachusetts with several furry family members.
In 2005 she moved to Hawaii and has been enjoying exploring
the natural beauty of the islands. Currently she is attending
UH for her Masters in Social Work. She adopted Stewart (pictured)
from the Humane Society in January 2006. She currently services
the Tantalus & Manoa areas.

Lindsay

We have been very lucky to find Lindsay! A graduate of California
State University; she obtained her Bachelor’s degree
in Communication Design. After working as an account “exec”
for a year she decided she wanted a job with more flexibility
and fun…she found us! Lindsay provides midday dog walking,
pet sitting & overnight care for our clients in the “town”
areas. Her years of pet care experience is a plus….various
jobs include interning for the Santa Ana Zoo, the Lei Aloha
Dolphin Center & Fran Joswick Therapeutic Riding Center.
She has been a horse owner for seventeen years & now has
a new pup named Blue (pictured with her)!

Debbie

Debbie & her husband Phil moved to Hawaii two
years ago for his work. Their last home was in Southern California.
There Debbie was known to all as “the pet girl”.
She has extensive pet care experience…from hand feeding
kittens to fostering & finding homes for many stray pets.
On the mainland Debbie enjoyed working for PetSmart as their
pet care “specialist”. Her love of animals
ranges from anything as small as a mouse to as large as a horse!
Currently she is owned by two lovable cats Ba'al & Isis,
two birds and many fish.

Kelly joined the dogwalker team in the Spring of 2006.
She's a great pet sitter & already in high demand with
our central Oahu clients and their pets. Kelly and her
husband have traveled all over the world for work...this Spring,
it brought them here to Oahu. They brought with them
their two beloved pet cats (pictured). Kelly says "I'm
very fortunate to combine my great love for animals and love
of the outdoors into one job!" Originally Kelly
calls Montana her home but is quickly falling in love with
the island ways of life!

Koa started with dogwalker etc in 2004. She is our premier
kitty sitter and services the Mililani area where she resides
with her husband. Running her own business called "Computer
Ease" also fills Koa's time. Koa obtained her master's
degree in microbiology from the University of Hawaii. She also
enjoys many hobbies including paddling, swimming & of course...playing
with animals!

Danyelle started with the dogwalker etc team in the summer
of 2006…she’s a true animal lover! Originally
she hails from Buffalo NY, but has called Hawaii home for the
past 5 years. Her full time jobs include teaching 8th grade
Arts and Drama at Mililani Middle School & being “mom”
to her cats, Frag & Ellie. Danyelle says, “Pets
are members of the family. I have always had cats, dogs, fish,
birds, rodents of all types (a squirrel included!), reptiles,
and even a short stint with a Llama! Special training...have
you ever bathed 2 Great Danes at once?!?!

Danielle was a great addition to our team in 2006! Her clients
span from Ewa Beach to some “town” areas too….our
clients adore her. She was born and raised in Minnesota but
moved to Hawaii in August of 2003 to escape the cold winters…smart
lady! She graduated from UH in December 2006 with a BBA in
Human Resource Management. Danielle grew up with many animals
including dogs, guinea pigs, rabbits, fish, cats, and hamsters.
Currently she has two cats of her own who are her “baby
girls.” She’s pictured here with Nani.

Our clients adore Sara & it’s clear why…she
started out as one of ours so she knows how to treat them right!
She has always been a pet lover & says “I honestly
do not think I could live without having animals in my life!”
Sara is locally born & raised on the island of Maui. She
now resides here on Oahu with her boyfriend & 2 cats; Ziggy
& Anela (pictured). Sara splits her days between pet sitting
in the Leeward areas and studying for her BA in psychology
at HPU. |

Jennifer or “Jen” as we call her is one of the
newest to our team... joining dogwalker etc in the
Spring of 2008. Jen has been living in Hawaii since 06 with
her husband Jeremy and 3 lovely pets: cats Bailey & Kinky
plus rescue pup Frankie, an adorable chihuahua/terrier mix
(pictured with Jen). She lives in Mililani Mauka & her
service area covers most of the Leeward side. Jen’s
professional background includes working as active duty military
through 2006 & more recently as a vet tech. When she
gets free time she enjoys doing crafts, going running &
spending time with her little family. |

Amanda

Amanda joined our team in the fall of 2005. She covers our
Windward sections of the island. Her love of animals started
early in life. Growing up, Amanda & her family raised puppies
that later were utilized as professional guide dogs. Ever since
working with the puppies she has been an animal
lover! Her pets have included everything from frogs and lizards
to cats and dogs.
Amanda also spends her days working with a nonprofit group
and caring for her three and a half year old son Kai. Their
pets now include a fish named Kua and a jackson chameleon named
Loco. With so much love for all animals we're sure she will
become your pet's "best friend" when you can't be
there!

Beth started working with us in the summer of 2006. She’s
traveled all over the world living in places like Scotland
& the US Virgin Islands! Beth is a retired school teacher
and now enjoys spending her days pet sitting (of course!) &
relaxing with her husband of 26 years. Beth lives in Kailua
and provides both pet sitting & private boarding to many
of our windward clients. When she’s not hard at work,
Beth loves to hike and take walks on the beach with her pup

We’re so lucky to have Jeremy on the dogwalker etc team!
Being 6’ foot 7” has it’s advantages in the
dog walking world…not many of our clients can pull him
around! He’s got a great love for all animals and currently
shares his home with one lovebird. Jeremy attended college
on the mainland and received his BS in Psychology in 2004.
After graduation Jeremy realized he missed his family &
the islands so he moved back and now resides in Kaneohe. Besides
being a great pet sitter, his other jobs include being a teacher
for autistic children & running his own production company!
His territory for dogwalker etc includes all of the windward
side.

Denise

Denise provides our luxury private boarding services in her
home…complete with dog walks on the beach! She and her
family recently transferred to Hawaii & they have settled
into a wonderful home fronting Bathtub Beach in Laie. Originally
Denise hails from Indiana & Ohio where she lived on a hobby
farm and had many exotic pets.
Denise is mother to 3 great kids & Jenna Riley, their special
needs service dog. In her “spare” time Denise
runs “Emerald Chloe Collectibles” her e-bay store.

Kylee has been working with Dogwalker Etc. since November 2007.
Originally from Illinois, Kylee moved to Kailua in June 2007
with her husband, Jason. She has had pets her entire life,
including dogs, cats, hamsters and fish. She received her bachelor’s
degree in political science from Spring Hill College in Mobile,
Alabama, and is currently working on her master’s degree.
She works part-time at the MCBH library. She and her husband
adopted Sabre and Eisenmeower from the Hilton Head Humane Society
in July 2006. She enjoys the beach, reading, and being entertained
by her cats!

Carol joined the dogwalker etc team in the Spring of 2008.
We are thilled to have her & so are our windward clients!
Carol provides midday dog walking & overnight home/pet
sitting. She’s spent the last 27 years in Hawaii but
originally hails from New Hampshire. Carol’s “real”
job at Castle Hospital keeps her busy during the week but she
truly enjoys her time with our client’s pets! She has
special training in equine massage & has been a horse owner
her whole life. Her hobbies run the gamut…as long as
there’s a dog by her side.

We’ve been so lucky to have Caitlyn join the dogwalker
etc team in the summer of 2008. With an extensive educational
background, Caitlyn has acquired a BS in Animal & Veterinary
Science, Pre-Veterinarian Concentration; Minor in Wilidlife
and Fisheries Biology! Caring for our Windward areas, she provides
dog walking, pet sitting & overnight services. Caitlyn
shares her home in Kailua with her husband & pet dog Kumu
(pictured).
