Adopt A Dog...

Dogwalker etc & Paw Prints Rescue have teamed up to help homeless dogs find new loving homes! Each month we will feature a new, wonderful, adoptable dog with pictures & their own story.

These previously featured dogs are still waiting to go to new homes....

ROXY
Roxy has lead a transient live. She's been in the Humane Society and after being adopted left at a rental property in Hilo. The new tenants adopted her as their own but soon had to move on and could not take Roxy.

Before moving they asked Pawprints to find her a home. Without ever meeting this sweet girl, a family in Kailua opened their home and hearts to Roxy. However, Roxy needs more attention and care than they can offer and so she is back for adoption.

Roxy is excellent with children and other pets. She is calm and friendly and playful. She needs a relaxed, calm environment where she can get a lot of attention and finally have her own forever family.

LEAH
With big beautiful eyes and a constant wagging pug-tail, Leah is sweet and charming. She loves to walk on her back legs, twirling around, for a bit of whatever you are having. She loves to sit in your lap and sleep on a pillow next to you.

Leah was rescued by PawPrints in 2008. They suspect she was hit by a car & was found about 1 week after that. She was not in any life-threatening danger but she was in some pain. She has since healed with only some hairless spots as reminders and little hitch in her back leg.

Leah enjoys toys of all kind, eats like a big dog, and needs to have company as much as possible. She gets along well with other dogs but is a little leery of people until she feels safe.

Once her heartworm is treated Leah will love to go for walks and adventures. She is happy to go wherever her family is and would love to have another dog for company if she has to stay home.

Her energy and spirit is amazing! She cat eat as fast as her 50 pound siblings. She is brave beyond her fears and endured the pain of her accident with such a will to live and be happy. Dogs can get depressed, but not little Leah. She is full of sunshine and brightens the days with her wiggly tail and kisses.
