Sondra is our most requested house/pet sitter! She has been with the dogwalker etc team since 2004. Originally Sondra hails from Canada but has called Hawaii home for the past 14 years. She has dabbled in many different career fields; from Event Coordinator to Belly Dancing Instructor! Her love for animals & professional demeanor really show in the excellent care she provides each & every one of our clients.

Molly joined the dogwalker etc team in 2009 & we’re so excited! Molly’s vast experience with animals ranges from work as a dog & horse trainer to pet owner of cats, dogs, love birds & a sugar glider. Originally from South Texas, Molly spent many years there professionally showing horses. She obtained her BBA from UT and then relocated to sunny Hawaii. Her other jobs have included surf instructor & stable manager. When not hard at work you’ll find her surfing & perhaps skateboarding with a client or two!

Coty is a local girl born and raised on Oahu. She services our town areas & Manoa specifically. Coty received her esthetician’s license in 2005 and just opened her own spa in the heart of Manoa! In addition to being an entrepreneur, she LOVES animals! She has owned many pets in her lifetime; from ducks to dogs. Coty loves every day & is thankful she can come home to a loving husband, and two awesome dogs; “Kalei” (Aussie) & “Linus” (Silky Terr. mix).

Jessica hails originally from Miami FL. A job opportunity with Sea Life Park brought her here in 2010. Jessica was brought on as a dolphin trainer for Sea Life Park and before working there was a zoo keeper at Jungle Island in FL. At her previous job she worked closely with dangerous reptiles and African penguins. Jessica’s vast animal experience also includes an internship with the Miami Sea-Aquarium. Jessica says “I have grown up with pets my whole life and I can’t imagine life without them!”

Ellie relocated to Hawaii from Minnesota as a kid with her family. The warm breezes and island way of life seemed perfect & so they settled on Maui. The University of Hawaii brought her to Oahu in 2007 where she is studying Finance & International Business. Missing her pets on Maui, Ellie was drawn to this job & now she can shower our clients with all of that love. She is pictured here with her parents dogs: Copper, Chloe & Syd (also known as Squid)!

Born in Rio de Janerio and raised in New York City; Anne wanted to leave the urban jungle behind for the real rainforest of hawaii nei. She proudly calls Hawaii her home now. Anne obtained her BA in Dance from UH Manoa. In addition to being a fabulous dog walker & pet sitter, Anne also works as a freelance Stage Manager for several theaters on Oahu. When not hard at work you might find Anne surfing, painting or dancing around town. She is pictured here with a favorite former client from her job with the “NY Dog Spa” her little buddy “Bauer”.

Born in Norway and raised in Wisconsin, Ingrid moved to Hawaii to attend UH. She moved back to the mainland after graduation and worked at the Wisconsin Humane Society for a couple of years before she realized her home was in Hawaii. Ingrid and her husband recently moved back to Oahu with their fur family Argos (dog), Calypso (cat), and Pan (Flemish giant rabbit). She joined the pet sitting team to get her animal “fix”, without having to bring any more home.

Shannon is a local girl born and raised right here on Oahu.  Shannon loves animals and believes every pet should have the best care possible. Her constant companions is her dog Rocky, her kitten Choco, and her rabbit Kendra. When not hard at work Shannon also enjoys hiking, going to the beach, and dancing hula.

Gina is a Oahu transplant from San Diego, Ca.  She is a dog lover extraordinaire and is an avid admirer of Cesar Milan’s “Dog Whisperer” ways. Gina obtained her Bachelors in Social Work, and Masters In Counseling Psychology hopefully starting a small practice of her own soon.  Aside from dog walking she can be seen around town, riding her bike, expanding her learning, enjoying the beach, practicing yoga, and taking in the art scene.  Pictured here with her rescued junkyard dog (the one and only) Salvador Dali.

Chris has been a wonderful addition to our team here at DWE since early 2011. Originally from Seattle, Chris grew up caring for all types of pets working in the family business; a large dog & cat private boarding facility. There Chris held every position possible: dog walker, dog trainer, kennel tech & even the receptionist. Growing up with a minimum of 10 pet dogs at all times Chris is comfortable with just about any breed size & temperament. While not hard at work Chris enjoys exploring Hawaii or watching any/all sports on the TV.

Katherine grew up on a farm in the Texas hill country where she was raised around all kinds of animals. Katherine moved to Oahu in 2010 unfortunately had to leave her puppy with her parents. She spends her free time in and on the ocean, learning the Hawaiian way of life, rock climbing, and exploring. Ultimately Katherine is working towards her Nursing degree and just received her Massage Therapist license!

Briget was born and raised here on O’ahu. She has recently obtained her Bachelor’s of Science in Family Resources, and is planning on furthering her education with a Master’s in School Counseling. When Briget is not working at an Elementary School or walking dogs, she is most likely at the beach, hiking, playing tennis, or hanging out with friends. Briget currently resides with a German Shepard Pitbull mix named Lita, a yellow lovebird named Mango, and her brother’s Jack Russell Terrier mix named Sweetie (pictured here)

We’ve been so lucky to have Gerhild join our team of pet sitters! She lives & pet sits in the Aiea area while also providing our luxury private boarding services in her mountain top home. She has a gentle demeanor and that shows when she works with our clients. Gerhild & her husband have lived on Oahu for over thirty years. They happily share their home with their parrot Brando & two dogs Maui & Hapa (pictured).

Meredith’s background with animals spans from Dolphins to Dalmatians (and all in between). She is originally from Dallas, Pennslyvania and has recently relocated to Oahu with her husband courtesy of the US Navy. Meredith provides much of our pet care services in Central Oahu area. When she’s not hard at work loving on our client’s pets; Meredith enjoys hanging out with her best friend Miss Dixie (her cat pictured here).

Amber is originally from Michigan but now calls Oahu “home”! Amber & her husband, Austin, arrived back on Oahu in 2011 for another 3 year Navy tour (his second tour here). Along with working for Dogwalker etc, Amber also works as a dental assistant. Currently she has one dog. Norman is a golden retriever australian shepherd mix (pictured). Amber was lucky enough to adopt him from the Hawaiian Humane society in 2007. In her spare time Amber likes to visits the beaches, go on hikes, visit dog parks/beaches with Norman, and ride motorcycles with her husband.

Lennie officially joined Dogwalker Etc. in March 2012 but has many years of pet sitting experience under her belt. She and her two older sisters had everything from bunnies and guinea pigs to frogs and turtles. Lennie’s faves include cats and dogs & she is pictured here with her sister’s lhasa apso “Mochi”. She is a contributing editor for Hawaii HOME + Remodeling magazine by day and a pet sitter/ dog walker by night!

Rachel’s clients rave she’s a fabulous pet sitter & dog walker! Her territory covers Leeward neighborhoods of Oahu. Steeler is her best friend (pictured) and he loves to accompany her on pet sitting visits. Rachel lends a positive, calm & assertive attitude to all her clients. When she’s not out walking pups you might find her hanging out at the dog park with Steeler or relaxing at home with her husband.

Jennifer relocated to Oahu with her husband who is currently stationed here. Initially choosing to pursue her passion for design, she graduated with a BA in Interior Design and worked for a small architecture firm for three years. Seeking a change of pace, she decided to pursue her other passion…animals. Working as a pet sitter in Tampa, FL expanded her love and affection for all pets, from bearded dragons to kitties. Jennifer shares her home with her three lucky dogs: Gizmo, a 14 year old Lhasa Apso; Tilly, a six year old Silky Terrier and Carolina, a three year old Norwegian Elkhound.

We’re so thankful to have Corena on our Leeward team of pet sitters! She was raised on a dairy farm in Wisconsin where her pets ranged from a goat named “Floppy” to a guinea pig “Scooter”. Corena’s jobs have also run the gamut from retail to vet tech. Working in the veterinary office allowed her to learn about vaccines, administering medications & recognizing signs and symptoms of illnesses. Currently Corena & her husband are stationed in Hawaii. They share their home with an awesome yellow labrador named Gunner & great dane pup named Tank. Being around animals has always been a passion of hers & she can’t imagine being in a home without one!

Danielle has been with our team in 2006! She was born and raised in Minnesota but moved to Hawaii in August of 2003 to escape the cold winters…smart lady! She house & pet sits for many clients in Windward areas. Danielle attended UH and graduated in december 2006 with a BBA in Human Resource Management. Danielle grew up with many animals including dogs, guinea pigs, rabbits, fish, cats, and hamsters. Currently she has two cats of her own who are her “baby girls.” She’s pictured here with Nani.

Cara was born and raised in Pasadena & attended Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego where she studied Psychology. While in San Diego, Cara followed her dream to work within the youth foster care population. She began working with children labeled as “intensive treatment foster youth.” These children were in need of positive emotional and behavioral supports in the home, school, and community environments and this was her job. Cara’s career path is teaching but she has always had a deep love for animals as well. This desire to also work with pets lead her to Dogwalker etc & we’re so thankful to have her. Cara says “I look forward to meeting the needs of your family and your pets!”

Jade’s an island girl born & raised in Hawai’i. Our client’s adore her and it’s no wonder with her huge passion for animals! Jade has always been around animals and currently shares her home with her lab “Laser” & doxie “ Pookie”. While not hard at work walking doggies Jade is also focused on her musical career..singing! Jade is a “classical cross-over” singer and she also sings Jazz, 40s/50s, Broadway! Her other hobbies include blogging & she’s self professed foodie.

Sean has been a fabulous addition to the DWE team in early 2012. Sean has years of experience as a pet sitter in New Hampshire. His clients included dogs, snakes, chinchillas, and assorted lizards. Sean’s other jobs include: a microbiologist/lab technician for environmental consulting firms in Hawaii as well as skateboard instructor. When not hard at work you might find Sean gardening or surfing!

We are so blessed to know Barb and have her on our team of pet sitters & dog walkers! A local girl through & through; Barb is a Waialua grad and then went on to obtain her BS in Animal Science from UH Manoa. Barb grew up on Haleiwa and now is home owner on that same stretch of beach that locals affectionately refer to as “Turtle Beach”. Barb’s experience with animals is vast ranging from work with the dolphin research institute to raising a household full of pets with her two grown sons during their childhood. When not hard at work you may find Barb snorkeling & collecting shells in her front yard (laniakea beach!).
